How to get healthy nails
During winter nails are more prone to becoming brittle and breaking. It is important to keep nails short if this happens to you. Buffing nails can help to stop them flaking, however use a gentle file or buffer and only do it once or twice a week. If you over buff the nails this can cause them to break even more as they become too thin. Pushing back the cuticle using an orange stick in between manicures can also help to strengthen nails as the cuticle won’t grow too much on the nail. Using Essie’s apricot cuticle oil is great to use daily to help nourish dry and brittle nails.
